Santa Barbara Studio Artists is a nonprofit organization of professional fine artists who maintain working studios that are open to the public year-round by appointment.

In cooperation with the Santa Barbara Conference and Visitor's Bureau and the Chamber of Commerce, S.B.S.A. is dedicated to raising the profile of Santa Barbara as a destination for the arts.

Every Labor Day weekend S.B.S.A. holds an Open Studios Tour for the benefit of The Arts Fund.


The annual Labor Day Weekend Open Studios Tour runs from 11 AM to 5 PM Saturday and Sunday, and includes a gala reception with the artists on Friday evening starting at 6 PM. Tickets cost $20 for adults. Children 12 and under are free. A preview exhibition at The Arts Fund, 205C Santa Barbara Street, includes a piece of each participant's work.
