At
the dawn of mankind primitive peoples fashioned clay objects.
They sculpted about what they knew and wanted. Pregnant women
and animals were the hot topics of the day. I think of my work
much the same way. Though the topics may be different I feel
a link to those old people sitting around playing with this
beautifully plastic material.

Anderegg received his B.S. in Geography from Arizona State University
in Tempe, and has been resident artist at the Archie Bray Foundation
for the Ceramic Arts in Helena Montana, and at Anderson Ranch
Arts Center in Snowmass Village, Colorado. His work is included
in such collections as the Renwick Gallery of the Smithsonian,
Mint Museum of Craft and Design and the Fredrick R. Weisman
Museum in Minneapolis among others.
