"Painting on-location with the sun and wind on my face, makes me feel closer to a higher power." I am mostly self taught, although I studied art history at UCBB and life drawing at UCSB's College of Creative Studies. My background includes being a professional graphic artist and illustrator. I worked in the special effects industry where I created matte paintings for feature films such as StarTrek Insurrection. Currently, I am represented in Judith Hale Gallery, Santa Barbara Frame Shop & Gallery, and Bottoms Art Gallery in the Biltmore Hotel located in Montecito, CA. My studio/gallery is in downtown Santa Barbara. Private viewings at my studio are arranged by appointment. |
