The inspiration for my work comes from the shapes and colors found in plant life seen up-close. Highly saturated in color, with a lot of contrast, I strive for a bold statement. The no frame presentation gives a contemporary feel to these paintings. They can be hung as single paintings or in groups. Several are diptychs which allow me to paint on a large scale.

I have a BA degree from Brown University and the Rhode Island School of Design, and have studied at the Phila. Museum School of Art, Paier Art School, and The Washington Studio School. Gallery representation is by Gallery 113 and Zacca Creek Gallery. Corporate collections include So. New England Telephone Co., Lenders Bagles Corp. Headquarters, Yale New Haven Hospital, Avco Lycoming, Colonial Bank and The Banking Center, Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center and numerous private collectors in Europe and the U.S.A.
