The recurrent themes in my sculptures are inspired by the natural curves in nature and the human figure, lights and shadows, movement and balance, strength and fragility. The challenge of discovering the sculpture within the stone, the dialogue between the tools, my vision and the stone is a mystery that keeps me going forward. From the place where the stone comes from to the finished piece, each sculpture has a story. |
