I am best known for my work in Assemblage: three-dimensional sculptures made from found objects. I am a mixed media artist. Many of my pieces are combinations of paint, collage, and construction. I enjoy splitting my time working with assemblage and a new medium, Encaustic paint. I grew up in Santa Barbara and graduated from UCSB with a BA, Major in Studio Fine Art. Many awards have been won in Collage and in Assemblage. Most notably: First Award, Collage Artists of America, Juried Open ’06, Sherman Oaks, CA and Hon. Mention, International Assemblage Artist Exhibition 06, Berlin, Germany. My works are in many private collections in Southern California, Florida, New York, and New Jersey. I am a member of the Los Angeles Assemblage Group, Collage Artists of America, International Assoc of Acrylic Painters (iSAP) and Santa Barbara Art Association. |
