Oil Painting
My inspiration to paint is routed in my desire to create something of lasting value and while doing so, find a little peace in the hustle-bustle of every day life. Painting is an engrossing experience for me. It's a chance to push and express myself to some satisfactory resonation using very simple tools, those being essentially, one's life experiences, color suspended in oil and a brush. With all that's going on in the world today, and which for the most part we have little say, it provides me an opportunity to create something of beauty and resolve life as I would like to see it, if only for a moment, in the world of a four-sided canvas.
