In Erin Williams' 25 years as a professional artist, each watercolor has been a prayer for the positive. She studied at the Academy of Art in San Francisco and received her M.F.A. from SUNY Albany in 1985 where she received the Presidential Award for Excellence in Art. After moving to Oregon she spent the next 20 years painting the beauty of nature around her. She exhibited in dozens of juried shows and was represented by several galleries in Oregon and Seattle, becoming well-known in the Pacific Northwest and locally famous in Eugene. At the end of 2005 Erin literally followed a dream and moved to Santa Barbara and from her ocean front studio perched over the water, she is nourished each day by an abundance of delights in the sun, sea, sand, flowers, fruits and balmy breezes. Erin's popular watercolors are in many collections worldwide.
